Tim graduated from the University of Otago with a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Commerce (majoring in Economics). Tim began his legal career at Russell McVeagh in Auckland in 2004, before moving to London in 2007, where he worked for a large commercial law firm and as an in-house legal advisor for British Telecommunications plc.
In 2011, Tim returned to New Zealand and settled in Christchurch. He worked at Christchurch law firms Lane Neave and Cavell Leitch before commencing work in Rangiora in 2015, where he became a partner in 2017.
Tim is an expert in all business law matters, including establishing new businesses, buying and selling existing businesses, restructuring and succession planning, commercial contracts, capital and debt funding, corporate governance and compliance.
Tim also advises clients on buying and selling property, leasing property, establishing and managing family trusts and other private client matters.
