Rachael Zaronis
Director | Solicitor

Rachael leads the property team at Conway Lane Law and has a comprehensive knowledge of all aspects of property law (including buying and selling property, subdivisions, easements, and occupation right agreements). Rachael and the property team specialise in helping first-home buyers into the property market, assisting with Kiwisaver withdrawals and Homestart grant applications.

Rachael also advises on wills, trusts, estates, enduring powers of attorney, separations, contracting out agreements, dispute resolution and provides independent legal advice on a variety of matters.

Tim Brown
Director | Solicitor

Tim is an expert in all business law matters, including establishing new businesses, buying and selling existing businesses, restructuring and succession planning, commercial contracts, capital and debt funding, corporate governance and compliance.

Tim also advises clients on buying and selling property, leasing property, establishing and managing family trusts and other private client matters.

Jennifer Jones
Senior Associate

Jennifer joined Conway Lane Law, as a Senior Associate, in 2023 upon her return from the UK where she worked for the UK’s leading conveyancing firm. She has a comprehensive knowledge of all aspects of property law including buying and selling property, subdivisions and easements. Jennifer specialises in helping buyers and sellers confidently navigate the property market, including advising first-home buyers and assisting clients with bank lending and refinancing. She also advises on wills, enduring powers of attorney, trusts and contracting out agreements.

Micah Neville
Senior Solicitor

Micah joined Conway Lane Law in 2023 as a senior solicitor. With a background in general practice, Micah has experience across a wide range of practice areas.

Micah has a focus on relationship property, estate issues and dispute resolution. He complements this with a private client practice working across wills, enduring power of attorneys, trusts and property. Micah has an eye for detail, a strong technical grasp of the law, and enjoys advocating for his clients.

Olivia O'Brien
Registered Legal Executive

Olivia is a Registered Legal Executive who joined Conway Lane Law in March 2021. Olivia gained her Legal Executive Diploma in 2018 and has been part of the legal profession in Christchurch for over ten years. Olivia has experience in residential conveyancing including first home buyers who require assistance with Kiwisaver and First Home Grants. She also has experience with asset protection work including Family Trusts, Wills and Enduring Powers of Attorney.

Melissa Tovgaard
Legal Administrator

Legal Administrator Melissa (Mel) joined the team in March 2023. Mel is one of the friendly faces you will see when you come into Conway Lane Law. Mel prides herself on her client relationships and always goes the extra mile to assist clients. Originally from the UK, she traveled extensively before settling in Rangiora. Mel has a wide variety of administrative experience and will assist clients with buying and selling properties.

Rachel Smith
Receptionist and Legal Administrator

Rachel joined Conway Lane Law in February 2024 as receptionist and legal administrator for the firm. Having previously worked as a legal secretary for over ten years prior to her career break to raise a family, Rachel has a passion for legal administration and has a wide range of experience with several areas of law. She enjoys building a rapport with clients and always endeavours to exceed expectations.
